365 day challenge. Days 8-15.

Well things here have been, crazy horrible and devastating!

We live in Qld, in Brisbane, and the last week we have had the biggest flood in 35 years. It has been so very hard to find beauty in the things around us when so much more is going on. But each day i still took the time to take a photo to add to my 365 photo days challenge.

Day 8/365

Today's Photo shoot was of Baby S..... so very cute! and our 365 day challenge photo. More to come soon.

This is the Pine rivers bridge at Petrie. Flood day. :( (Queensland's flood crisis).

Day 12/365
Only a tiny fraction of the debris left behind on the Pine rivers bridge. All up there was a mountain of rubbish, not to mention a roof off the BBQ area, whole pieces of road bitumen ripped us and tossed like play dough and also 2 more whole trees. So much to clean up.

Day 13/365
Many of our local parks were destroyed in the floods. So when i went to take my kiddies for a play they were surprised by the destruction, but had fun in the mud. My middle child how ever was just wrapped to find a live lady beetle.

My gorgeous nephew who I don't see very often, and my boy. This is a very rare photo to get, as both boys are extremely shy when together.

Being locked inside due to the never ending rain, it starts to get hard to find new "things" to photograph for my 365 day challenge. I'm very much an outside person!
But my girls had a tea party this afternoon and because they used juice as their "tea" they were asked to wash their tea set. I came out to start dinner and couldn't resist taking a photo of this bubble covered girlie cuteness. hehehe :)

This is my youngest with the love of his life...Blankie!
Blankie goes everywhere. Today they enjoyed watching Disney channel together, just before rest time. Who else has a blankie bubba instead of dummy?
